In our trip to the Rockies, we had a picnic in a meadow covered in wildflowers with beautiful, snow capped mountains as a backdrop.
We also saw a herd of wild elk (including several babies!), and then we traveled up high enough for the girls to touch snow.
Katherine and Isaac had fun dressing up like pioneers at a local historical museum, but you can tell by the look on Dylan's face that she was less than enthusiastic about it!
